Hook Lock

The L4V Hook Lock is a mechanical deadlock operating independently from the manufacturers’ locking system. A deadlocking hook bolt engages into its opposing body section. Operated by its high-security external key under full control of the driver. Suitable for owner-drivers or applications where the driver can be relied upon to operate the lock.

Lock in a Box also available for the high position on the barn door.

Recommended Fitting Positions
We recommend the L4V Hook Lock fitted high-position on the side load door and the L4V Hook Lock fitted high-position on the rear barn doors

Deadlock

The L4V Deadlock is a mechanical deadlock operating independently from the manufacturers’ locking system. It is very similar to the L4V Hook Lock however this lock engages a ‘straight bolt’ (20mm-50mm) into its opposing body section. Operated by its high-security external key under full control of the driver. Suitable for owner-drivers or applications where the driver can be relied upon to operate the lock. The L4V Deadlock is recommended for use on the vehicles cab doors.

Slamlock

The L4V Slamlock is primarily designed for couriers, multi-drop delivery drivers and any operations where a driver may be regularly in and out of a loading area throughout the day.

The L4V Slamlock safeguards against the driver forgetting to lock the doors. Once the door is shut it locks automatically and can only be opened using the L4V Slamlock key, reducing the chances of theft.

Statement Lock

The L4V Statement Lock mounts externally to the doors of the vehicle, bracing them together while providing an effective visual deterrent. When fitted higher in the door it helps to reduce the risk of the door being bent down. As a deadlock working independently from the manufacturers’ locking system, it offers flexibility to the operator of the vehicle allowing them to use this extra security when required.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The L4V Statement Lock has been independently awarded with Sold Secure Automotive Diamond accreditation, as well as being recognised by Secured By Design as a Police Preferred Specification.

The lock and keep are both attached to the van, meaning there are no locking elements that can be misplaced by the user. This product can be installed on both the side load doors or barn doors, and is available for the best-selling vans on the market.

Available in three security levels – Standard, Gold and Diamond, the L4V Statement Lock provides a range of options to suit both security needs and budgets.

Replacement lock for Ford

We often find that Ford driver door locks are easily overcome by picking or forcing the cylinder. The L4V Replacement Lock for Ford is a high-security replacement barrel and bezel that has been designed to reduce the risk of these types of attack.

The L4V Replacement Lock for Ford is a high-security barrel and bezel for the driver’s door lock on selected Ford Models.

The replacement lock has been designed with anti-pick and anti-spin properties, which address the vulnerabilities of the original driver’s door lock. Both the barrel and bezel are fabricated from high-strength stainless steel, providing increased resistance to drilling attacks.

This product also acts as a strong visual deterrent against attack, reducing the risk of damage from attempted attack and theft.

Anti Peel Kit

L4V Anti-Peel Kits have been developed to reduce the risk of the common ‘peel and steal’ type of attack. Designed to reduce door peeling, this solution is fitted to the front edge of the vehicle’s side load door. We recommend using this product in conjunction with an L4V Hook Lock in the high position of the rear end of the same side load door. Available for both the N/S and O/S sliding doors. Available in a HIGH & LOW position.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Automatically engaging when the door is shut, the L4V Anti-Peel Kit is designed to strengthen door edges and distribute force more evenly when attacked.

The L4V Anti-Peel Kit is a robust bracket and keep manufactured from high-strength stainless steel. Its vehicle-specific design ensures maximum security, and is available for the most popular vans on the road.

Independent testing concluded that the L4V Anti-Peel kit installed on a side load door helps to increase resistance to van door peeling by up to 3,000%.

We recommend using the L4V Anti-Peel Kit in conjunction with a L4V Hook Lock in the high position of the rear end of the same side load door.

Loom Guard

L4V Loom Guards reduce the risk of vulnerable areas of the vehicle body skin being cut or punctured giving access to the wiring loom. Available for the rear door.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

L4V Loom Guards reduce the risk of vulnerable areas of the vehicle body skin being cut or punctured giving access to the wiring loom, disabling the the central locking. Repairing the loom can be expensive and inconvenient for the van owner if the wire is cut.

External Latch Shields

Break-ins often occur as a result of the door skin being punctured to gain access to the internal mechanisms that open the door. The L4V External Repair Plate is door-specific, and acts as a visual deterrent to reduce the risk of this method of attack. It can also be used as a cover up plate for damage caused by this method of attack.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

L4V External shields reduce the risk of bodywork punctures that give access to internal lock mechanisms and door latches. Our external shields are vehicle and door specific and so the products we supply vary depending on the make and model of your vehicle.

Internal Latch Shield

The L4V Latch Shields reduces the risk of the door handle being punctured to gain access to internal door mechanism for the load area. These fits all STG’s. The rear door does not fit with a Slamlock.

Interior Handle Release Guards

L4V Interior Handle Release Guards are anti-spike kits using a combination of internal and external parts to reduce the risk of access to doors interior handles.

Cat Guard

The L4V Cat Guard reduces the risk of removal of the vehicle’s catalytic converter.
Not suitable for Electric and Hybrid variants.

HOW IT WORKS

The L4V Cat Guard has been specifically designed and tested to reduce the risk of theft of Catalytic Converters. It provides a heavy-duty shield that is fixed together using shear bolts and mounted to the chassis using high-security stainless steel cables. Precious metals found in the catalytic converter means that these are increasingly targeted by thieves. Commercial vehicles are particularly vulnerable to this attack as some catalytic converters are susceptible to quick and easy removal.


